Consider the following before submitting an application.
1) Read our Charter
There is a lot of information in our charter about the recruitment process and you should be familiar with it
before you apply to join us. Vital information about our culture and ways are also found in the charter, and you can save
yourself a lot of time and questions by reading it.
2) We are extremely selective
Most of those who apply to us will not become members. Know this before you apply. Unlike most online gaming groups, we care a lot about
those we invite into our family. We only want players who fit our culture and share our virtues and gaming beliefs. Submitting
an application only brings you to our attention; it does not get you in.
3) Effort is required to become one of us
You need to show us you not only want it, but that you belong. For those who do belong, showing it to us is trivial. All
you need to do is be yourself and group with us for a time. When members get to know you they will make the right recruitment decision.
Bribes and flattery will not help you. We want warriors, individuals of good character, and damn good gamers. Words will not convince us
of that, only actions and participation.
4) Use correct and complete English
This application is your first impression to us. We are a mature group. We want intelligent people. Writing an app in broken, incomplete, or
kiddo-speak makes you look like a douchebag, and we don't like douchebags in our guild. Keep this in mind when writing your app. Using shorthand or using
letters to abbreviate words tells us that you don't care enough about the us to write it correctly, and therefore we won't care enough about
you to read it. So do yourself and us a favor - use correct and complete English.
5) Applicant Requirements
1) Full completion of this application. We are particularly critical of poorly written or
half-assed applications and see them as a reflection of an Applicant's desire to join us.
2) Voice comms. This means both the voice client and a working mic. No exceptions.
3) Age 18 or over. We are a mature group aimed at college-aged individuals and over. Many of our members are in their
mid-20's. We obviously have no means of verifying your age, but we expect you to behave and communicate at a level that
can easily pass as being 18 or over. Immaturity is an acceptable veto reason.
4) Fluent English. Sorry, but we are an English-only guild. It doesn't have to be your first language, but we do
require that you speak and understand it fluently.
