Devman makes a very good point - since the tanks have a gun AND anyone can pull a tank, you're going to see a LOT more tanks. You won't have to beg to pull armor, it'll just happen naturally. That also means that AA guns in the secondary slot are going to be standard for anyone not planning on having a gunner. Just move - see aircraft? instant switch to gunner seat and flak spam it, then switch back. I predict no-fly zones unless AA guns on the tank have a significant resource cost.
On the other hand, the Lib Gunship might actually have a very important purpose in PS2...countering the hordes of tanks.

Ya reaver whoring with no AA or other aircraft around, and it still died to the tank machinegun.

Its clear the aircraft flying around weren't blowing up that galaxy he kept spawning at, so they were certainly holding back for the demo.

They're developers, not gamers. If they were gamers, they wouldnt' have the time to be developers.
Although Higby himself did seem fairly good.
Also remember they knew he was demoing it, so they may have intentionally stood there to make for a better demo.

That's where beta feedback comes in. Few things I am concerned with too but keeping an open mind as I like most of the stuff I see. Hard to imagine how it all comes together without having something to play and try out.
