The forum conversion was successful! I've got everything back to the way it was, complete with the news page. All old posts were saved!I'll be changing around the forums quite a bit over the next few days and adding a pair of new skins with the Liberty theme. I'll do a member purge also at some point in the next few days and get rid of non-Liberty folks that I don't recognize.

And now something to inspire you.

sweet, now i dont have to log in manually every time i come to the boards anymore as it actually remembers my login info and keeps me logged in.

We also now have a mobile theme. If you visit on a mobile phone, look at the bottom of the page. You can change the them to the "Mobile" skin and it looks a lot better and easier to read on a small device.

I particularly like this feature. I just wish it auto-detected when I was on a mobile phone and switched the skins automatically.

Any way to setup a separate page (like liberty-clan/mobile or something) that would be set to that skin by default?

There were tons of permission issues due to the forum conversion.

I just spent the evening....

1) Pruning the member list of almost all non-Liberty
2) Fixed permissions for all Liberty groups
3) Moved all Liberty to The Reserve group & a few officers back out. (eventually I'll move folks out of reserves for those who are active in Planetside 2)
4) Went through each and every member by hand and fixed permissions.
5) Created the "Affiliate" user group for partners in Planetside such as Freedom Guard.
6) Added Favicon for our site (its the Liberty logo, you'll see if next time your browser cache refreshes it)
7) Added Liberty Logo as an avatar and pruned out all the stupid crap. To get the logo on the forums its real easy, just browse the Avatar gallery and pick the only one there.

If you are experiencing a permission issue, such as not being able to see forums that you believe you should or not seeing forums at all, please let me know (hop on vent, send me email, poke me on steam, whatever).

Now I think all users and permissions are sorted...now to forum fixing.

I do believe I fixed this.

I had to add a pattern matcher for Windows Phone 7, but I just verified that WP7 does in facto work. Iphone, android HTCs, blackberries, samsungs, nokias, and palms should all now auto-redirect to the Mobile skin.

Completed the forum restructuring. Let me know if you see any permissions that seem odd.

Just glanced at it on my droid. Seems to be working as intended.

if i remember right there's a way for invision boards to have multiple themes in the drop-down menu, so the users can pick their personal preference for color schemes if you set up multiples.

As you may have noticed the site got a new skin. It was a time consuming process but I converted it to the old liberty theme & colors. Working on the mobile version next.
